KARACHI – Police have arrested three suspects for their alleged involvement in street crimes and robberies in different areas of the city.
The identification of the suspects, who were held by Zaman Town police on Thursday, was not less than a shokc when it was revealed on security officials that one of them was the son of a serving police officer and other two were sons of former Navy officers.
According to police, the suspects allegedly involved in street crimes like mobile and motorbike snatching, and robberies.
The SHO informed the media that the case is being investigated, adding that the victims had also been asked to come to the police station to identify the suspects.
The suspects, according to the DIG East, were also apprehended by police of different areas in the past for snatching cash from the citizens.
He said that stolen motorbikes have been recovered from their possession and further interrogation is being conducted.
The DIG suspects that the arrested boys were addicted to drugs and conducted robberies to spend extravagant lives.
