NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – A massive fire broke out in the premises of Indian Parliament on Sunday afternoon, reported Indian media.
The fire was contained after an hour-long struggle of fire fighters, officials told the media, nobody is said to be injured or dead.
Forces cordoned off the whole area and no one is allowed to enter into the building.
As many as eleven fire tenders rushed to the site and contained the fire from spreading to other areas. The main building of the parliament is not affected as a result, told one of the firemen.
A short circuit in power station located near the entry gate of the parliament ignited the fire, said Indian media.
