Girl-extortionist held in Peshawar

PESHAWAR (Web Desk) – If you think girls are always ‘so innocent’ then you need to be more aware of what is happening in the world!

The girl who used to demand bhatta (extortion money) from people in the name of a banned organization has been arrested. According to details, this girl is a student of First Year. She used to demand ‘bhatta’ by calling people and upon refusal would threaten to kidnap their children. Some people would pay her the amount while others stopped sending their children to school and outdoors altogether.

After arresting the girl, the police presented her in a local court which ordered her to be transferred to the Central Jail. According to police sources, the girl would use voice changer to make her voice sound manly before demanding ‘bhatta’ to escape any detection.

ASP Faqirabad Furqan said the girl used to change her location after some time to avoid arrest. She received a ‘bhatta’ of Rs. 0.1 million from a trader after threatening and did not spare even her relatives thus succeeded in getting ‘bhatta’ from them.
