Indian minister attends Pakistan Day celebrations

NEW DELHI (Web Desk) – Indian Minister of State for External Affairs, Gen VK Singh, attended Pakistan Day celebrations at the Pakistani High Commission in New Delhi Monday evening.

Several Kashmiri leaders including Syed Ali Shah Geelani attended the event.

The Pakistan Day is celebrated to commemorate the Muslim League’s Resolution on March 23, 1940 demanding a separate nation for Muslims.

Earlier on Monday, Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi said he was of firm belief that all outstanding issues with Pakistan can be resolved through bilateral dialogue in an atmosphere free from terror and violence.
