After Vivo, DOOGEE introduces under-screen fingerprint scanner feature

BARCELONA – Chinese smartphone manufacturer DOOGEE is all set to roll out under-screen fingerprint scanner at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018, starting next week.

DOOGEE V will be the second smartphone in the world to introduce the under-screen fingerprint scanner earlier featured in Vivo X20 Plus UD.

The new smartphone features 6.21-inches AMOLED screen with aspect ratio of 18:9 and FULL H+ 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution with no buttons on top of its front side

There is an earpiece and a front camera that will be used for FaceID.

For imaging, the smartphone is equipped with 16MP + 8MP dual camera with dual-LED flash on the back. The back panel is of glass, enabling it with Near-Field Communication (NFC).

The phone, with a battery as massive as 4,000 mAh, has a USB-C charging mechanism.

The company has not revealed any information on specs like chipset, RAM or storage, but it says the phone will have some sort of AI.
