Legendary wrestling icon Hulk Hogan passed away at the age of 71 on Thursday.
According to international media reports, the world-renowned professional wrestler who played a major role in popularizing WWE, passed away on Thursday in Clearwater, Florida, due to a heart attack.
TMZ reported that an emergency call regarding a heart attack was received, prompting a medical team to rush to his residence in Clearwater, Florida.
When the team arrived, the 71-year-old was found unconscious. Despite receiving CPR and being rushed to the hospital, he could not survive. At the hospital, he was identified as the legendary wrestler Hulk Hogan.
Hogan’s real name was Terry Gene Bollea. He won numerous championships and belts throughout his wrestling career and played a vital role in bringing the sport to global fame.
