ISLAMABAD – Met Office on Saturday informed that monsoon will continue in upper and some central parts of the country during next week, particularly during the Eidul Fitr holidays.
Currently, the monsoon is causing rains over central parts of India and is heading towards Pakistan.
Monsoon currents will start to penetrate in Pakistan from Monday/Tuesday and torrential rains/thundershowers are expected at a number of places in the country, the spokesman said today.
Rain/thundershowers with isolated heavy falls and strong gusty winds at a number of places in Punjab, Islamabad, KP,FATA, GB and Kashmir during Monday to Friday.
Similarly, rain/thundershowers with strong gusty winds at scattered places in Lower Sindh and Eastern Balochistan during Wednesday to Saturday.
The spokesman further informed that rain/thundershowers are also expected at scattered places in Islamabad, Upper Punjab, Upper KP, and Kashmir during Eid days.
