ISLAMABAD – Pakistan Meteorological Department has said that the current rain spell would continue until Wednesday in most parts of the country.
“Rain and snowfall are expected in hilly areas in isolated places in Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Gujranwala, Lahore divisions, Islamabad, upper FATA, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan,” a spokesman for the Met Office told media.
Several places in Punjab, KP, Kashmir, Islamabad, upper FATA as well as Balochistan have experienced rain accompanied by thunderstorms, and snowfall, over the last 24 hours.
The lowest temperatures recorded were: Gupis -10°C, Kalam -09°C, Kalat, Malamjabba, Astore, Parachinar -06°C, Skardu -05°C, Bagrote, Zhob, Hunza -04°C, Chitral -03°C. -Online
