Anti-Terrorist Court remands six target killers in Rangers custody

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Pakistan Rangers Sindh have arrested six suspected target killers including Adil alias Pagla, whose name was also there in the list of wanted suspects provided to Dr Farooq Sattar, ARY News reported.

The paramilitary force today produced six target killers in an anti-terrorism court (ATC) of Karachi involved in killing of several people including policemen.

Rangers’ official requested the court to grant 90 days remand of the suspects which the ATC judge approved.

In a release issued afterwards, Rangers said the name of suspect Adil alias Pagla was also mentioned in the list of wanted criminals which the paramilitary force forwarded to Nine Zero with Dr Farooq Sattar as addressee, a few days ago.

The suspect is involved in the killing of several police personnel including SHO Brigade police station Nasir ul Hassan, said the Rangers spokesman.

Other suspects handed over to Rangers for 90 days included Mubarak Ali alias Langra, Nasiruddin alias Gadri, Muhammad Aqil alias Hathora, Sajid and Liaquat Hussain Turk.

The suspects were said to be involved in target killing, extortion and other heinous crimes.
