Army Chief vows to eliminate terrorists

KARACHI (Web Desk) – Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif has approved the increase in number of military courts in Karachi to handle the pending terrorist cases.

According to ISPR, the Army Chief was briefed on the latest security situation in Karachi on Tuesday.

He commended all ranks of Rangers, Police and intelligence agencies as well as people of Karachi for their support.

He said that across the board operation will continue to eliminate terrorists, criminals and mafias from Karachi.

The Army Chief also gave directions to break evil nexus between terrorists, criminal mafias, violence and corruption to ensure peaceful and terror free Karachi.

According to the ISPR, for the capacity building of Sindh Police, sophisticated weapons worth sixty-five million rupees have been provided.
