After the raging HBO TV series ‘Game of Thrones’ ended, fans have been clinging on to the hopes of prequels and sequels. Their prayers were answered when the news of ‘House of the Dragon’ broke the internet in 2019.
This prequel will narrate the story of the House of Targaryen that ruled Westeros 300 years before the events of ‘A Song of Ice and Fire’. House of the Dragon is set to hit the screens in 2022 and the ‘Thrones’ fans are here for it.
Variety reported quoting its sources that HBO is in talks with George R R. Martin about making another short series based on his fantasy novella ‘Tales of Dunk and Egg’.
It sounds like a weird name, but this novella tells us the story of ‘Aegon V Targaryen’ and his odd companion ‘Ser Duncan’ going on adventures together, 90 years before the events of the Game of Thrones.
It is a trilogy that was collectively published as ‘A Knight of the Seven Kingdoms’
Soon HBO will have had a character named Eggs and a character named Egg. https://t.co/ah1R2iSFmk

Let’s hope both the prequels work in the favor of HBO and give them a chance to redeem themselves after the rushed and haphazard ending of the Game of Thrones series.
