The ‘original disco dancer’, has been the unbeaten king of dance in Bollywood. Mithun hit the bull’s eye with his Bollywood debut ‘Mrigaya’ in 1976 and went on to bag his first National Film Award for Best Actor for his first film.

Mithun’s popular dance number, ‘I am a disco dancer’ from the film ‘Disco Dancer’, was a major success in 1982. This film catapulted him to the big league. While Ranbir Kapoor grooved to the song in his film ‘Anjaana Anjaani’, the song was revisited and served fresh by Mithun himself in ‘Golmaal 3’.

The song “I hate you like I love you” from Aamir Khan’s film ‘Delhi Belly’ was also inspired by this iconic number of the legendary star.
