KARACHI – Gold prices on Wednesday registered a significant decrease in Pakistan contrary to upward trend in the international market.
According to the Gems and Jewellers Association of Pakistan, the per tola price of gold decreased by Rs2,400 per toal to reach Rs222,100 while the price of 10 gram dropped by Rs2,050 to settle at Rs190,415 per 10 gram.
In the international market, the per ounce price of gold surged by $12 to $1972 per ounce.
