ANKARA – At least three Turkish soldiers Monday died while eight others injured when a bus carrying the personnel struck an explosion in southeastern part of Turkey.
According to Turkish news agencies, the bus was traveling between Derik and Kiziltepe towns of Mardin province which borders Syria.
The dead and the injured were rushed to a military hospital by the rescue teams.
There were no immediate claims of responsibility for the attack, however, the authorities believe PKK –a banned militant outfit in Turkey– was behind the terrorist act.
