Miss Arkansas Savvy Shields has been crowned Miss America 2017 at the Miss America Competition held at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, New Jersey, according to reports.
The crowning took place on September 11th, 2016.
Despite stumbling on a pageant question about Hilary Clinton, Savvy, 21, took the national title Sunday night in Atlantic City.
Shields, 21, whose full name is Savannah, doesn’t just get a crown and a title. She also wins a $50,000 scholarship and a six-figure salary.
