AIOU to hold Kalam-e-Iqbal competitions on Monday

ISLAMABAD – Allama Iqbal Open University (AIOU) will hold national songs, Kalam-Iqbal, paintings and speech competitions on April 29 at the main auditorium of the University.

The contests have been organized in connection with the death anniversary of Allama Muhammad Iqbal among the students of Rawalpindi region, said a news release.

Students will sing Kalam-e-Iqbal and highlight the golden principles of Poet of the East, to apprise the younger generation with his thought-provoking ideology and to seek guidance from Iqbal’s philosophy.

The first three position holders would be awarded cash prizes and certificates.
