BEIJING: China has banned famous singer Lady Gaga after her meeting with exiled Tibetan spiritual leader Dalai Lama, and added her name to a growing list of hostile foreign forces against the country’s Communist party.
Earlier, the US singer had held a meeting with the Dalai Lama on Sunday, on the sidelines of a conference in Indianapolis.
Afterwards, a video of the 19-minute meeting was also uploaded on her Facebook fan page. During the meeting, they discussed issues such as meditation, mental health and how to detoxify humanity.
As a reaction to the singer’s meeting with the Tibetan leader, who is often dubbed as a “wolf in monk’s robes,” Beijing imposed a ban on Gaga’s entry into the country.
