LONDON – In the wake of Uri attack, the tensions between India and Pakistan started escalating gradually as the two nuclear powers apparently indulged in taking preparatory measures in case war erupts between the two countries.
Pictures of motorways being converted into runways and jet crafts set in a state of readiness surfaced on the internet leaving an impression that warmongering from across the border has caused panic and serious threat to Pakistan’s integrity and security at the borders.
However, the hollow threats were taken as they should have been as the India was busy in hurling belligerent hyperboles at Pakistan, the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was enjoying shopping at his favorite Harrods department store in London.
Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was reportedly perturbed when he was approached by a Pakistani woman while shopping at the upmarket Harrods department store in London this week, Hindustan Times reported.
The incident was reported through series of tweets from the verified account of Shoaib Taimur, a London-based data scientist of Pakistani origin, on Monday. Taimur tweeted that an acquaintance on a WhatsApp group had spotted Sharif “shopping for Gucci shoes at Harrods”.
