TORONTO: At least one person was reportedly killed and nine others were left injured when a House in Canada’s city of Mississauga mysteriously blew up on Tuesday night.
According to our correspondent Mohsin Abbas, the incident took place at the city’s Dixie road, where the houses of many Pakistanis are located. The reason behind the explosion is still being investigated.
The house was completely destroyed as a result of the explosion.
Peel Regional Police also confirmed the tragedy, but declined to reveal the identity of the person died in the explosion.
Mississauga Fire and Emergency Services chief Tim Beckett said that 25 to 30 homes were evacuated during the rescue operation and the area is secure now.
