FAISALABAD – The second Sri Guru Nanak Kabaddi Cup Tournament will be played at Iqbal Stadium here on Sunday.
Addressing a press conference here on Saturday, Commissioner Mehmood Javaid Bhatti said the Pakistan Kabaddi Federation in collaboration Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Sports Wing and Nankana Sahib Kabaddi Club will organise
the tournament in which four teams will participate and players would be awarded prizes worth Rs10 million.
All arrangements had been completed for the tournament, he said, adding that first position holder will be awarded
Rs400,000 with trophy whereas prize of Rs200,000 and Rs100,000 will be given to the second and third position holders.
He said that Royal King (USA), Butt Kabaddi Club (Nalka Kohala), Shaheen Kabaddi Club (Giyala) and Bandesha Kabaddi Club (Jahangir) will participate in the tournament in which special prizes will also be distributed among best players.
MNA Raja Riaz Ahmad and tournament sponsor Lucky Kerali also addressed the conference while parliamentarian Faizullah Kamoka, Lateef Nazar and others were also present.
