NEW YORK- Budding attorney Kim Kardashian is set to bring her passion for criminal justice reform to the small screen with a two-hour documentary on the Oxygen network about her rebirth as an activist and related work.
The reality star and social justice warrior’s new series, Kim Kardashian: The Justice Project(working title), was among six new greenlights and five series in development announced by the network. The new set of projects hail from an eclectic range of creatives, including Kardashian, Mark Wahlberg, Ice-T, and Jason Blum.
Last year, Kim lobbied the White House for clemency for Alice Marie Johnson, who served more than two decades of a life sentence without parole for non-violent offences. President Donald Trump commuted her sentence and signed bipartisan legislation that gives judges more discretion when sentencing some drug offenders and boosts prisoner rehabilitation efforts.
