LAHORE (Staff Report) – Its been second week end since Sarmad Khosat starer Manto was released countrywide and movie is still ruling big screen in Pakistan. Until now the movie has earned above Rs 2 crore business and is expected to cross Rs 3 crore if it gets enough shows on Eid-ul Adha.
According to Pakistan Box Office during the second week of its release the movie witnessed a 9% decline in business.
The movie was at Rs 1.77 crore on second Friday of its release however the weekend shows helped it stand just above Rs 2 crore.
Analysts believe the movie can definitely cross Rs 3 crore target if it cinemas continue showing it on Eid-ul-Adha.
Manto is biopic featuring Sarmad Khosat as renowned writer Sadaat Hassan Manto. Sania Saeed is playing the character of Manto’s wife in movie.
