LAHORE (Online) – Pakistani cricketer Umar Akmal has served defamation notice of Rs 500 million to Lahore-based model Rachel Khan.
Through a notice sent by Umar Akmal on Tuesday, Rachel has been asked either to tender apology within 15 days or pay the damage claim of Rs 500 million.

Rachel had reportedly slapped Umar Akmal for harassing her in a function. Irreparable damage has been caused to reputation of Umar Akmal due to this statement by the fashion model.
In the legal notice, Umar Akmal has said that “my reputation and dignity was hurt due to statement of Rachel and I had to suffer mental agony. She should apologise over false allegation or pay damage claim of Rs 500 million.”
Umar Akmal said Rachel should explain her position within 15 days with regard to her statement otherwise he reserves the right to initiate legal proceedings against her.
