Another person hanged in Faisalabad

FAISALABAD (Staff Report) – Another person was executed in Faisalabad’s central jail on the charges of murder, as the country marks first anniversary of APS massacre which was followed by an end to years-long unannounced ban on hangings in Pakistan.

Akram was convicted for murdering a person named Sarfraz in 1998.

According to jail officials the convicted murderer had used all his legal rights of appeal in the higher judiciary and President office. He was executed after a court issued black warrant for him.
