NAIROBI (Web Desk) – A wary device found in the toilet on Air France flight 463 to Paris, plane was carrying 473 passengers including crew members.
Kenyan authorities have confirmed that “it’s a bomb”.
Kenyan authorities held two suspects and the Paris-bound flight were forced to make an emergency landing in Mombasa when a suspicious looking package was discovered in the lavatory.
All 459 passengers and 13 crew were escorted safely off the aircraft, while the bomb has been taken by the Kenyan navy to be detonated safely away from the airport.
Passengers have been taken to nearby hotel, while bomb experts have been examining the device.
Security forces have cordoned off the airport and flights have been suspended.
Nobody has yet claimed responsibility for the attack.
