India arrests three men planning to join ISIS from Nagpur airport

NEW DELHI (Staff Report) – India’s Anti-terrorism Squad Saturday arrested as many as three men from Nagpur airport on the suspicion that they were planning to join middle east based terrorist group Islamic State (ISIS).

According to India media reports the three men were identified as Wajid Shaikh (25), Mohsin Sayyed (26) and Ayaz Sultan (23) who left their houses in Telangana to join the terrorist group.

The accused have been handed over ATS Telangana branch for further investigation, an official statement circulating in media said.

At least 23 Indian national have so far joined Islamic State group in Syria and Iraq and six of them have died in fight so far.
