Krystyna Pyszková from Czech Republic crowned Miss World

Krystyna Pyszková from Czech Republic has been crowned Miss World.

Krystyna was crowned at a glittering ceremony in India as the 71st Miss World beauty pageant was hosted by Bollywood filmmaker Karan Johar and Miss World 2013 Megan Young from the Philippines.

Lebanon’s Yasmina Zaytoun was the first runner-up among 112 contestants in the competition held in Mumbai, India’s financial and entertainment capital.

Speaking after her crowning ceremony, Krystyna said, “Being crowned Miss World is a dream come true. I am deeply honored to represent my country and the values of ‘beauty with a purpose’ on a global platform.”

After the reigning Miss World, Karoline Bielawska of Poland, passed the crown to her, Krystyna waved to the large crowd at the Jio World Convention Center and hugged some of the other contestants.

Born on January 19, 1999, Krystyna Pyszková is a Czech model and beauty pageant titleholder. She previously was crowned Miss Czech Republic 2022, and is the second woman representing the Czech Republic to win Miss World.
