Pakistans Asjad Iqbal Defeated In Snooker World Cup Semi Final

Cyprus’ Michael Georgiou defeated Pakistan’s Asjad Iqbal in the Snooker World Cup semi-final being held in Mongolia.

At one point, Asjad was close to winning, having come back from a 2-0 deficit to take a 4-3 lead. However, despite a 65-point lead in the eighth frame, he lost.

In the ninth and deciding frame, Georgiou did not give Asjad any chance.

It is worth mentioning that Pakistan’s other player, Awais Munir, was eliminated in the quarter-final, losing 4-2 to Iran’s Ali Gharaqzolu.
