PESHAWAR – Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has said that the army belongs to us and affirmed that there is no conflict between us, as Imran Khan has previously clarified.
Speaking in the provincial assembly, he mentioned that Rangers and police had raided the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House. He expressed that he had no fear of arrest but realized that his detention would not be respectful.
Ali Amin Gandapur said that tear gas was used against their procession, an unprecedented occurrence in history. He added that they decided to take to the streets in protest due to the lack of permission for gatherings.
The chief minister noted that they were permitted to hold gatherings in cattle markets as if they were animals. He said that they went to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa House to strategize their next steps.
He recounted that when he left the KP House, he had no mobile phone or money in his pocket. Upon returning, he visited a DPO’s house, where the DPO requested him not to mention his name, fearing for his job due to his children.
Ali Amin Gandapur remarked that they were treated as if they were terrorists. He urged the nation not to be swayed by anyone who shows hypocrisy towards Imran Khan, praying for divine retribution against such individuals and their families. He asserted that the spirit of their workers has made the rulers tremble.
Additionally, Ali Amin Gandapur warned the federal government that if the IG Islamabad is not removed from his position, they would storm Islamabad again.
