LAHORE (Staff Report) – The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) Monday arrested a student of University of the Punjab on suspicion of having links with a terrorist organisation.
The suspect has been identified as Atique Afridi. He is said to be a resident of Khyber Agency and a student of Hailey College of Commerce.
A statement confirmed his arrest, saying that a special CTD team raided the premises of Punjab University to arrest the accused.
