MULTAN – Peshawar Zalmi registered a convincing 7-wicket win over Multan Sultans in the 25th match of Pakistan Super League (PSL) season 10.
Chasing a modest target of 109 runs, Zalmi reached the finish line in 13 overs, losing just 3 wickets. Saim Ayub top-scored with 49 runs, while Max Bryant remained unbeaten on 38.
Skipper Babar Azam (8) and Mitchell Owen (1) were dismissed cheaply. Mohammad Haris remained not out on 7.
For the Sultans, Shahid Aziz claimed 2 wickets and David Willey picked 1.
Earlier, after winning the toss and opting to bat, Multan Sultans were bowled out for 108 runs in 19.1 overs. Shai Hope led the scoring with 23 runs, followed by Tayyab Tahir (22) and Mohammad Rizwan (17). The rest of the batting line-up failed to offer resistance.
From Zalmi’s bowling attack, Ahmed Daniyal impressed with 3 wickets, while Maaz Sadaqat and Luke Wood took 2 each. Ali Raza, Saim Ayub, and Alzarri Joseph chipped in with 1 wicket apiece.
