LAHORE (Online) – A young girl died after she fell from a flyover in Muslim Town area on Monday.
The girl was fatally injured and was shifted to a nearby hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead on arrival. The deceased was identified as Tahira, 22, a resident of Kahna area.
Police suspected the girl allegedly committed suicide after jumping off the flyover.
However, sources claimed that the incident occurred after a rickshaw hit a motorcycle on which the girl was riding with another rider. The girl fell off the flyover after the rickshaw hit the motorcycle, the sources added.
The rickshaw driver and the motorcyclist fled the scene, according to the source.
The police have registered a case and started investigation into the incident.
