ISLAMABAD – Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu on Tuesday expressed satisfaction over Pakistan’s complete support and cooperation against Fethullah Gulen-headed organisation (Feto), in response to President Erdogan’s claims that he had masterminded the botched Ankara coup two weeks ago.
Speaking to media representatives in Islamabad, alongside the Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs, Sartaj Aziz, Cavusoglu said that Feto enjoyed presence in many countries, including Pakistan.
On the occasion, Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan wanted a democratically stable Turkey and would continue to improve bilateral relations in all fields.

“Turkey has always backed Pakistan since we are also victims of terrorism,” the prime minister’s adviser added.
Earlier, Turkey had reportedly urged Pakistan to shut down the network of Pak-Turk schools spread across the country. The schools are managed by supporters of Fethullah Gulen and Turkey has now decided to squash the all organisation driven by Gulen’s policy.
Pakistan has not yet responded to the request to close down the vast network of schools.
