NEW DELHI – After Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief Arvid Kejrival’s demand for proofs of India surgical strike in Pakistan, former Indian Home Minister P. Chidambaram has also raised a similar voice.
Talking to newsmen in New Delhi, he said that it was not the first time when troops have crossed the LoC and that Indian government was creating an unnecessary hype over the surgical strike claim.
He said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi shouldn’t own these military moves politcally and practice strategic restraint.
“The NDA should avoid drawing any premature conclusions from the surgical strike,” he went on to say.
On the occasion, he also urged Indian government to immediately resume dialogue with Pakistan, saying: ”How long can we stay away from dialogue and non-political ties.”
”No cricket, no films is not a strategy to adopt,” he suggested to the Indian Prime Minister.
