LAHORE (Khayyam Rafique) – While the front seat of any police van is reserved for chief investigation officer, an extortionist was brought to Millat Park police station on Saturday – handcuffed yet seated in the front.
Nasir, who was involved in extorting money from the locals of the Millat Park area, was apprehended by the police.
According to details, Nasir was extorting money in the Millat Park police precincts for a long time. When refused to be paid this month, he robbed two citizens of their cellphones.
The police received a tip off about his hideout and arrested the extortionist and also recovered the looted cellphones.
However, the criminal was seen being brought in a police van while he was sitting handcuffed in the seat – reserved for Chief Investigation Officer – beside the driver.
