ISLAMABAD – Minister for Interior Ahsan Iqbal has taken notice of a flag inscribed with “Khilafat is coming” in the federal capital, sources said on Sunday.
Taking notice of this incident, the Interior Minister has sought a report into this matter. Law enforcement agencies have removed these flags and started an investigation.
Media reports said that flags of Daesh have been unfurled on the Islamabad Expressway on Sunday. The flags contain the logo and and slogans of Daesh and have the Kalma Tayyaba written on them.
Ministry officials have informed Interior Minister immediately by phone. Subsequently, the minister ordered IG Islamabad to take action and submit a detailed report to the Interior Ministry.-Online
