ISLAMABAD – Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s wife, Begul Kulsoom Nawaz has been shifted to hospital again after her health condition deteriorated.
This was confirmed by Maryam Nawaz in a tweet early today (Tuesday) as saying, “Ami is hospitalised again. Earnest request for prayers”.

Begum Kulsoom, who secured victory in by-polls in NA-120 constituency that fell vacant after the disqualification of Nawaz Sharif, is undergoing chemotherapy sessions in the United Kingdom after she was diagnosed with a cancer of the lymph nodes.
Due to his wife’s illness, Nawaz Sharif had skipped three hearings of corruption references in accountability court as he had to go to London on October 5 to visit her.
Now, he is in Saudi Arabia and expected to reach Pakistan tomorrow (Wednesday).
