Jhanvi Kapoor and Ishaan Khattar to star in Sairat

MUMBAI –  Jhanvi Kapoor, daughter of veteran actress Sridevi and producer Boney Kapoor, is all set to make her big debut in Bollywood. Jhanvi will be seen opposite Shahid Kapoor’s brother Ishaan Khattar in the Hindi remake of Marathi film Sairat.

Bollywood’s social media strategist Ramesh Bala posted this news on Twitter yesterday (Monday).

The shoot is due to begin in December and will be co-produced by Karan Johar.

The original Marathi film Sairat was directed by Nagraj Manjule introduced young actors Akash Thosar and Rinku Rajguru.

The two stars have also been rumoured to date for a while and were recently seen at a party.

However, Ishaan is currently working with master Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi in his film Beyond The Clouds.
