Saudi Woman was seen harassed in a video which went online, the driver was seen making inappropriate gestures and comments.
Saudi Arabia: After the video went viral authorities arrested the taxi driver on Thursday. The abuser without any fear was seen abusing the lady who was availing the taxi services. In a statement made by the officials on this matter Mecca Police, Atti bin Atia Al Qureshi, said the incident took place in Jeddah and the passenger filed a report against the abuser. “In reference to the viral footage of a driver harassing a female passenger, we assure people that the victim has already filed a report of the incident with Jeddah’s police department,” he explained.
“The defendant has been identified and arrested. His case is transferred to the prosecution” – Atti bin Atia Al Qureshi

Saudi Arabia is now drafting its first sexual harassment law which is the most important for every female out there to feel safe , secure with Law on their side. Females need to be protected if the thinking and frustration of our male counterparts cannot change. We should have the liberty to travel and dress freely as we please.
