CALIFORNIA – Google is rolling out a new version of its browser Google Chrome 64 in the coming weeks.
The new version comes with very interesting features, the best of which is the ability to mute entire sites that autoplay videos.
Instead of frantically closing the tab (or muting it) users can just simply right-click the offending tab and mute the entire site.
Another change is that Chrome is now also better protected against Meltdown and Spectre attacks. The browser has disabled the SharedArrayBuffer feature to prevent further attacks.

The update will also provide High Dynamic Range (HDR) support for any PC running the latest version of Windows 10 and an HDR-compatible monitor.
The Chrome 64 update will be available for Windows, macOS, and Linux in the coming weeks.
