PSL 2018, 13th match: Multan thrash Quetta by 9 wickets

SHARJAH – Multan Sultans thrashed Quetta Gladiators by nine wickets in the 13th match of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) 2018 Sharjah on Saturday.

Sent into bat first, Sarfraz Ahmed-led squad were bowled out for just 102 in the 16th over. In reply, Sultans chase down the target in the 17th over at the expense of just one wicket.

Imran Tahir of Sultans became the second bowler to bag a hat-trick this season (after Junaid Khan’s hat-trick earlier this season).

Tanvir, who got three crucial wickets, was declared man of the match.

Second Innings:

Sarfraz Ahmad led Quetta lost their last five wickets for an addition of just one run.

Sultans strike back and took back-to-back three wickets as Umar Amin, Rameez Raja & Shane Watson went to the pavilion.

On Friday, Multan Sultans match against Karachi was abandoned due to rain. They beat Peshawar Zalmi in the opener and Lahore Qalandars in their second match. They lost their third match to Islamabad United.

Quetta Gladiators lost their first match to Karachi Kings but got back on the winning track by beating Lahore Qalandars. They defeated Islamabad United but lost to Peshawar Zalmi.
