LAHORE – The caretaker Punjab government has announced to increased the minimum amount of pension for its retired employees.
According to a notification Issued by the provincial finance minister, the minimum pension has been increased to Rs10,000 while the family pension of retired employees will be now Rs7500.
The retired employees with minimum 75 years age would now get RS15,000 as pension while the family pension for over 75-year-old employee would be Rs11,250.
Moreover, the ministry announced that overseas retired employees would also get the benefit of this new policy, however, the people living in India or Bangladesh would not get any benefit.
The finance department has also issued a notification in this regard.
