LAHORE (Staff Report) – Renowned singers Fariha Pervez and Nouman Javed have secretly tied knot in a simple ceremony held in Lahore.
The couple was said to be in a close relationship for years and invited a few friends to their nikah ceremony.
“Currently Fariha Pervez and Nouman Javed are trying to keep their marriage a secret and plan to make an announcement in this regard in year future, reliable sources told Daily Pakistan Global. A formal reception will also be held afterwards where other showbiz personalities will be invited.
Fariha Pervez is leading Pakistani singer who has so far released six albums of new songs and sang countless classical songs of great singers like Noor Jehan and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan. Her last album was launched in 2010 after a pause of five years.
She also sang several songs including “Rabb Janay Ya Dill Janay” along with singer Nouman Javed, who also gave music to Bollywood film Yamla Pagla Dewana.
