LAHORE – Pakistan Cricket Board has handed over the case of PSL spot fixing to Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) for further investigation.

Now, the players, including Khalid Latif, Sharjeel Khan and other will be grilled by the agency to know about the truth.

The FIA has taken the cell phones of players into its custody and launched an investigation, sources said, adding that deleted data will also be recovered to broaden the scope of the investigation.

It may be mentioned here that Latif and Khan, both players of Islamabad United, had been suspended for their alleged involvement in spot-fixing.
