PPP to join protest of peasants: Qamar Zaman Kaira

KARACHI (Web Desk) - Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Qamar Zaman Kaira said that PPP would fully participate with the farmers in their protest because the incumbent federal government has destroyed the country’s farming and the growers of crops in past three years.

It was PPP, which in its previous tenure uplifted the country’s Agri sector and by the year 2010, Pakistan was a big exporter of sugar and wheat.

He was addressing the press conference at PPP Media Cell, Sindh, on Saturday.

He was flanked by PPP Sindh Coordination Committee chief Nisar Ahmed Khohru, member Rashid Husain Rabbani, labor adviser, Senator Saeed Ghani, Senator Ajiz Dhamra, Waqar Mehdi, Habibuddin Junaidi, Lateef Mughal and Fida Hussain Dhakkan.
