LAHORE (Staff Report) – The temperature has been seen dropping Sunday morning as parts of country, including Lahore, Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Multan, Gujrat, Peshawar, Galiyat and several other cities, received rainfall the previous night.
According to media reports the mountainous areas of Gilgit and Chitral also received the first snowfall of season.
Meteorological Department said 3.5 millimeters of rain have so far been recorded in Multan, with temperatures falling from 32 degree Celsius to 19 degrees.
Peshawar and other areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have also been receiving heavy to light rainfall since Sunday morning.
The weather forecast suggests that intermittent rain and snowfall will continue throughout the day, causing the temperature drop a bit more ahead of winter season.
