ISLAMABAD – UK-based production house Sunset and Vine decided not to carry out the broadcast production following its reluctance to travel to Lahore, Dawn reported on Tuesday.

Now, a Dubai based company Innovative Production Group will handle the broadcast production of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) final.

Sunset and Vine carried out the broadcast of the entire PSL event this year, informed the Pakistan Cricket Board’s (PCB) management in the previous week about not covering the final match in Lahore.

Furthermore, companies that were hired to facilitate hawk-eye technology and spider-cam have also decided not to participate in the event.

There is strong likelihood of using drone camera instead of the spider-cam to broadcast the match.

The Punjab government on Monday confirmed taht final match of the second edition of PSL will be held at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
