BJP MP Paresh Rawal, who ignited a Twitter war after an outrageous tweet about author Arundhati Roy, was allegedly forced by Twitter to delete his tweet. This is an absolute shocker! @SirPareshRawal being asked to delete his tweet by @twitter. Whatever happened

“Instead of tying stone pelter on the army jeep tie Arundhati Roy!” Rawal had tweeted on Sunday. The tweet is not visible on his timeline anymore.
The tweet came in the wake of a video going viral last month which showed a young man tied to the front of an Indian Army vehicle, being paraded in a village in the occupied Kashmir, as an apparent warning to stone pelters. Jammu and Kashmir opposition leader Omar Abdullah tweeted the video in April, requesting for an “urgent inquiry and follow up”.
Talking to Indian Indian Express, Paresh said: “I know it is harsh. I meant it to be harsh. That’s why I got the desired effect — it has called the attention of the nation to what she (Roy) has been saying and a debate will start now.”
