KARACHI – Prominent Islamic scholar Dr. Zakir Naik is set to arrive in Karachi on October 2, 2024, for a ten-day visit to Pakistan. His arrival has garnered significant attention, with elaborate security arrangements in place, managed by the Special Security Unit (SSU).
Dr. Naik will be welcomed at the Karachi airport by Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, Governor Kamran Khan Tessori, and Karachi’s mayor, along with other prominent figures. During his stay, Dr. Naik is expected to engage with various Pakistani scholars, including Mufti Taqi Usmani and Mufti Muneeb-ur-Rehman.
One of the key highlights of his visit is a public address at the mausoleum of Quaid-e-Azam, scheduled for October 5. Prior to that, on October 4, Dr. Naik will visit a significant government institution. His itinerary also includes several private meetings from October 7 to 10.
Dr. Naik will conclude his Karachi visit on October 11, when he will depart for Lahore.
This visit is part of a broader tour of Pakistan, where Dr. Naik had already made an appearance in Islamabad a day prior. His speeches and engagements are anticipated to attract a large audience, with both the public and religious scholars keenly following his visit.
