India’s comedy king Kapil Sharma turns 36

MUMBAI – Popular Indian comedian Kapil Sharma is celebrating his 36th birthday today.

Over the years, the actor-comedian from Indian Punjab has certainly become one of the most loved men in the country.

His jokes and banter have become a huge part of an Indian household. Kapil saw a 206% jump in his income last year making him one of the highest-paid actors in the country.

On his birthday, his fellow comedian Kiku Sharda aka ‘Bumper’ wished Kapil  on social media.

Kiku wrote on Twitter: ‘Happy BDay brother ,,,,,thanks for helping me make the world laugh, there could be no better job. #respect.’

Kapil Sharma currently hosts a comedy show ‘The Kapil Sharma Show’ on Sony TV, which is not only popular in India but Pakistan too.

Apart from Indian celebs, Kapil has invited several Pakistanis on air, including Rahat Fateh Ali Khan, Fawad Khan, Ali Zafar and Atif Aslam, as all three have contributed to the industry through their acting or music skills.

Bollywood superstars including Amitabh Bachchan, Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and have also appeared on the show.
